We went through red lights and past green trees We spent hours buzzing like black and yellow bumblebees Paddled through blue waters in the black of night It felt like, a painting with each stroke straight from my mind I’d believe you if you’d say that it was so That I just paint the way as I go I’d believe you if you’d say that it was so but you never do You never do Did I paint the golden sun drops that fall down on us I believe you if you’d say that it was so But you never do you never do We sipped, white rum watching a purple sunset Then the silver moon it dangled above our heads I know that I could not create the things I see before me now But still feels like a painting with each stroke straight from my mind I’d believe you if you’d say that it was so That I just paint the way as I go I’d believe you if you’d say that it was so but you never do You never do

Give me the thrill of your touch Minor intake is not enough Trying to kick this habit is way too tough I think I overdosed on a substance called love Drip drop, the tap is dripping I’m looking around my head is tripping My antics I am reliving They’re providing me with my temporary vision Substance called love Oh the thrill of your touch Minor intake is not enough Trying to kick this habit is way too tough I think I over dosed on a substance called love Sweat beads fall onto my shoulder My head is hot but the rooms getting colder I’ve been hit with a fast moving boulder My heart is young but my brain is getting older Substance called love

You left your pockets on my floor on my floor While you were bouncing off my walls You see distant eyes look into my mind Look into my ever drifting mind As I search for older times And now we are lost somewhere along the line Is it too late to retrace my steps to Try and find you Jump on to my flight let’s take it back To a time when the two of us were tight Sometimes it’s best when you’re looking over your shoulder We got lost somewhere along the line Is it too late to retrace my steps to try and find you The one who taught me affection was for free Maybe you would like to come again But it wouldn’t have to be in the rain Once more we’ve rendered ourselves helpless And once again we managed to change but stay the same Find me in the middle ground find me in nobody’s land Maybe you would like to come again But it wouldn’t have to be in the rain with Your pockets on my floor And my words in your hands That’s what I demand Dry you tears on my sleeve Jump into my time machine

Hope 04:26
I go higher higher Seek the flame from the fire Chasing accumulating desires Never wanting to End up with nothing to hold With every hand equalling a fold Further from where I am headed Couldn’t stay afloat Now I’m dreaming in a pool Of a hope of a dream That picked me up and dropped me off in Nomads land and now I have no plan Is this all there is Is this all there is Is this all there is Cos it’s not enough you see It’s not enough for me Keep on keep on Telling me that it’s fine While you’re standing In your never ending line Oh didn’t you ever dream Cos that’s the way it seems To have the feeling of a hope of a dream Oh that’s what I mean Oh a hope of a dream Crying, crying, crying over decimals cos they’re not worth the price we pay Surely this ain’t why we’re here But I’m afraid to say that’s my fear Is this all there is Is this all there is Is this all there is Cos it’s not enough you see It’s not enough for me Higher higher seek the flame from the fire chasing accumulating desires Higher higher seek the flame from the fire chasing accumulating desires higher higher seek the flame from the fire chasing accumulating desires never wanting to end up with nothing to hold and I guess you can call it my goal
